Jerlando F. L. Jackson, PhD, was featured on the annual list of the top-200 nationwide influencers in the field of education.
The annual Rick Hess Edu-Scholar Public Influence Rankings, published by Education Week, recognizes scholars from across the United States who have shaped education research, policy, and practice.
A panel of educational scholars and leaders from various institutions selected the scholars from among the more than 20,000 university-based faculty in the U.S. researching education based on several factors, including Google Scholar scores and mentions in the educational and mainstream press.
Jackson was one of four scholars from the Michigan State University College of Education named to the 2025 list.
